WHERE: KNAC - Crawlspace Theatre

WHAT: Auditions for Trunk Show, Shakespearean, Not Stirred, and Puppet Show

NEEDED: Two contrasting pieces running no more than five minutes total. One must be classical, preferably Shakespearean verse. Please perform these pieces with the idea of direct address to the audience in mind.

SHOW INFORMATION:

Trunk Show (Touring): This will be an hour-long cut of Romeo and Juliet with 2-3 actors performing all of the roles with all needed technical elements fitting in a steamer trunk. This production will tour to local schools and will have two public performances. Daytime availability needed for at least 5 in-school performances. Actors may also lead optional pre- and post-show workshops.
Shakespearean, Not Stirred: Our drunken Shakespeare experience returns in October and February. This will be a fast, loose, and tipsy performance of a shortened Shakespearean play. Please note, consumption of alcohol during performances is not required to be considered for casting in the show.
Puppet Show (Touring): A 30-minute telling of The Comedy of Errors using puppets! Fun and zany, this show will be geared towards younger audiences (5th grade and below). Experience in puppetry encouraged but not required. Performances of this show will occur during the Spring of 2027.
